The wafer type series is a soft seated butterfly valve engineered for indutrial and water-work performance in most of fields. Its one-piece body with a rubber seat ensures pressure stability and long-term shutoff, simple and easy to install and maintain due to their smaller body structure.
With a temperature range of -29°C to 120°C and compatibility with Buna-N(NBR), PTFE and EPDM seat, stainless steel or nylon-coated discs, the wafer design is trusted in water HVAC, desalination, steam, sour gas, and vacuum services. 1. Direct-mount Handle Structure
Manual handle lever cut down resistance greatly, also easily actuated with less fatigue even after long-time use.
2. Valve Stem Two-section Design
Adopting a two section valve stem without pin connection, the structure is simple and deep, making maintenance and disassembly extremely convenient, and can be disassembled on site.
3. Good Stem Seal for Non-leakage
The valve stem seal is not easily deformed, so that avoid the common phenomenon of valve stem leakage. The overall suport prformance is good, stable and fixed-structure.
4. Stable Stem Bushing
Stem bushings made of phenolic resin (bakelite) + PTFE composite, features cost-effective and presents a yellow appearance. Also it offers excellent dimensional stability and low deformation under load.
5. Valve Seat with Hard Backrest Design
The valve seat adopts low rubber content, which effectively mitigates expansion influence and maintains torque within a proper range. and phenolic backrest seat delivers excellent anti-detachment performance, high tensile strength, reliable sealing and easy replaceability. Its integrated sealing surface further reduces seat deformation.
6. Integral Valve Body Structure
With smaller face to face and low cost design, it is easy for installation and maintenance.
7. Valve Disc with Automatic Centering Structure
Connected via a two-section pinless design between disc and stem, enabling automatic centering in both vertical (up/down) and horizontal (left/right) directions. This results in a smaller fit clearance with valve seat, reduced friction during opening and closing, more stable sealing performance, and lower operating torque.
